PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Physical Education

The Physical Education course at MSW is taken by all students and develops in an age-appropriate manner as they develop from Kindergarten to sixth grade. The focus of this course is to balance our education so that it focuses not only on developing students' minds but also students' bodies so that they can lead a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

Our Physical Education program does this by allowing students to engage in a variety of sports and sports-related activities while also allowing them to explore topics related to fitness, wellness, and nutrition. Each day's class hopes to not only better the student as an individual, but also emphasize the importance of teamwork, communication, and collaboration. As part of our all-school PACK (Positivity, Accountability, Community, Kindness) principle, students use their time in P.E. to more deeply learn about how these attributes play into their relationships within themselves and with their peers making the P.E. program at MSW an essential part of our curriculum for both the Upper and Lower Schools.
