The Mountain School at Winhall is committed to maintaining its diverse student population and programs. MSW is home to families and faculty from around the world and the United States. To continue to promote diversity and provide a safe and rigorous academic home for young students from around the world, MSW opened its International Student Program in 2011-12.
Qualifying middle school students can study in one of New England's most beautiful states, nestled in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont. In addition to the outstanding personalized education provided at The Mountain School (class sizes of only 10 students and a 5:1 student-teacher ratio), students graduating from MSW in good standing will be admitted to The Mountain School's neighbor, Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester Vermont, and The White Mountain School in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Students will also receive priority application status from fellow town academy John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, Maine. All of these schools will continue the tradition of excellence started at MSW for each of our international students.
