International students can hit the Vermont playground, be it fall or spring dropping into our world-class skate park or hitting the slopes in the winter in our own backyard...Stratton Mountain, one of North America's finest ski resorts. Vermont's name comes from the French name for "green mountain." And even though this quaint state offers small-town life and a rural
environment, we are close to several major metropolitan areas like Boston and New York City.
Family Living
International students are placed with local families who are interested in and committed to sharing their lives with students from abroad. These families are carefully interviewed and selected by The Mountain School. Living with a family is a very good way for international students to become immersed in American language and culture, as well as provides students a warm and caring personal relationship with one family during their time at MSW.
