Dear Parents and Students,

I am very excited for the upcoming school year of 2010-2011. The first trimester will be full of enriching field trips and engaging content. A goal of mine this year is to involve parents in the use of technology in the classroom. In the first weeks of school I will hold a workshop with parents to show them how to use the google group page and share with them other technological opportunities for learning.

This year Kate and I will create an individualized organizational plan with each student at the beginning of the year. Saying this, we will require students to come to school with only some of their school supplies. They will need the following items:

Calculator
Markers
Pens
Pencils
Glue Sticks
Flash Drive (recommended)

After we complete the individualized  organization plan, students will need more supplies.

Please contact me if you have any questions at 379-8472 or jwilson@themountainschool.org.

Sincerely,

Jon Wilson
